Juneteenth Fort Pierce
The best Juneteenth Celebration in St. Lucie County happens in Ft. Pierce!
We will be there with our newly formed St. Lucie County Black Democratic Club members to greet the public and introduce the party and the club to all the residents of Ft. Pierce.

The best way to party while you save democracy! Easily one of the most fun events on the Treasure Coast every year and the St. Lucie Dems will be there on May 18th with our partner Haitian Caucus members. Sign up for a shift at our booth and have the best time with the best people!

Treasure Coast Pride Fest 2026
St. Lucie Democrats will be at the festival to support the LGBTQ+ community and St. Lucie residents in general. Bring your joy and volunteer with us to greet festival attendees at our booth.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Grand Parade
Walk in the Annual Grand Parade for Martin Luther King Day in Ft. Pierce. The Democratic Party will participate in the Parade and we encourage all SLC Democrats to walk with us. The Parade route is about 2 miles long so please keep that in mind when considering volunteering. Line-up starts at 9:00am, Parade starts at 10:00am at Ave I and MLK Blvd.
Volunteers will be provided additional details when they become available.

Special Election Phone Bank
We are in the final stretch of the Ft. Pierce Special Election Runoff. This is our chance to get a Democrat into a previously-Republican seat and flip the commission to a Democrat-majority!! We can help get Ft. Pierce the leadership it needs to grow and develop into the Sunrise City it has always strived to be.
You can help us do that! There are two active phonebanks that phone bankers trained on Virtual Phone Bank can use right now. Register and you will receive the codes and can make calls at your convenience right up until Election Day on January 13th.

The Special Election in Ft. Pierce, District 2 has moved on to a runoff. Chris Dzadovsky received the most votes in the last election and earned a spot in the runoff.
Let's make sure he has the most votes on January 13th!
Please register with Mobilize so that our Canvassing Leaders can properly plan and have adequate materials for all volunteers. Your meet-up location will be sent via Mobilize also.

Bacon & BBQ Festival and Fall Craft Fair Booth
The St. Lucie Democrats will host a table at the upcoming PSL Bacon & BBQ Festival and Craft Fair. The event is two days - September 27th & 28th. There are multiple shifts to volunteer with 4 volunteers for each shift. Treasure Coast Pride Fest Parade
Join us in the Treasure Coast Pride Fest Parade!
The parade will happen at the St. Lucie County Fairgrounds at the start of PrideFest (line up at 9am). The length of the parade route is currently unknown but will not be strenuous. We will simply walk with signs/banners of support for the LGBTQ community.

Poll Watching - Early Voting - Mid-Florida Event Center
Join the St. Lucie Voter Protection Team to make sure that every eligible voter’s vote counts. Poll watchers are the eyes and ears of the election process. After receiving the required training and being credentialed through the St. Lucie Democratic Party, poll watchers are authorized to enter polling locations to observe, report and record issues pertaining to the administration of an election. Poll watchers will be assigned to the following Early Voting sites: Renaissance Business Park, Indian River State College Veterans Center of Excellence, MidFlorida Credit Union Event Center, Robert E. Minsky Gym; Zora Neale Hurston Library; Port St. Lucie Community Center, and Paula A. Lewis Library.
Early voting runs from Monday, October 21st to Saturday, November 2nd (including Sunday, October 27th) from 9:00am to 7:00pm and Sunday, November 3rd from 7:00am to 3;00pm. Poll watchers will also be assigned to locations on Election Day, November 5th, from 7:00am to 7:00pm.
