When We Meet

The joint meeting of the St. Lucie County Democratic Executive Committee (DEC) and the Democratic Club of St. Lucie County is held on the third Tuesday of every month at 6:00pm. Meetings are held at Temple Beth El Israel, 551 SW Bethany Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL 34986.

The DEC is a statutory arm of the Florida Democratic Party. We are the entity responsible for discharging Florida Democratic Party affairs within St. Lucie County.

Members of the DEC are Precinct Captains who help Democrats in their precinct stay aware of upcoming elections, and link Democrats in their neighborhoods to each other through social events, everyday activities, and regular communication.

Our partner clubs and caucuses have their own meeting schedules:

Democratic Club: Joint meeting with the DEC at 6:00pm; same location

Democratic Women’s Club: Third Saturday of every month at 9:30am at the Unity of Ft. Pierce, 3414 Sunrise Blvd, Ft. Pierce

Democratic Hispanic Caucus: Second Thursday of every month at 7:00pm via Zoom

Treasure Coast Young Democrats: Regular meeting schedule TBA

How We Work

The path and efforts of the St. Lucie County Democratic Party are developed and implemented using information collected through our interaction with voters. It is our position that government and, by extension, the political parties have a responsibility to serve the people. We are here to listen to your concerns, partner with service organizations to better the community, and find candidates who are responsive to the actual needs of our cities, county, state, and nation. The St. Lucie County Democrats are here for you and we hope you will get involved.

We are stronger when we work together.
