HELP SAFEGUARD DEMOCRACY ONE VOTE AT A TIME BY ENSURING THAT EVERY ELIGIBLE VOTER’S VOTE COUNTS

WHY IS VOTER PROTECTION IMPORTANT?

• To ensure that voters can exercise their constitutional right to vote

• Making sure the process is conducted consistent with all legal requirements

• Every vote matters; many races are decided by razor thin margins

• If we’re not watching, voter suppression/intimidation may occur

• To ensure that voters have confidence in the system and will continue voting

EARLY VOTING FOR GENERAL ELECTION: OCT. 19TH – OCTOBER 31ST
GENERAL ELECTION DAY: NOVEMBER 3RD

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

• Poll Watcher – work inside the polls; must be a registered SLC voter

• Poll Greeter – assist outside the polls; do not have to be a SLC voter

• Canvassing Board Observer- observe tabulation of ballots by Canvassing Board

• (Training will be provided)
