JOIN THE VOTER PROTECTION TEAM
 
HELP SAFEGUARD DEMOCRACY ONE VOTE AT A TIME BY INSURING THAT EVERY ELIGIBLE VOTER’S VOTE COUNTS
 
WHY IS VOTER PROTECTION IMPORTANT?
To ensure that voters can exercise their constitutional right to vote
Making sure the process is conducted consistent with all legal requirements
Every vote matters; many races are decided by razor thin margins
If we’re not watching, voter suppression/intimidation may occur
To ensure that voters have confidence in the system and will continue voting
 
SAVE THESE DATES IN 2026:
EARLY VOTING FOR PRIMARY ELECTION: AUGUST 8TH – AUGUST 15TH
PRIMARY ELECTION DAY: AUGUST 18TH  
EARLY VOTING FOR GENERAL ELECTION: OCT. 19TH  – NOVEMBER 1ST  
GENERAL ELECTION DAY: NOVEMBER 3RD  
 
WHAT CAN YOU DO?
Poll Watcher – work inside the polls; must be a registered SLC voter
Poll Greeter – assist outside the polls; do not have to be a SLC voter
Canvassing Board Observer- observe tabulation of ballots by Canvassing Board
(Training will be provided)
